Don Quixote
Working on rim lighting techniques. Two SB600 speedlights. Both camera right. t One behind the subject for rim light, the other, further away, at 45 degrees to the subject.

Bonus shot. This is what happens when the cat wanders into the “studio.”

  1. Dramatic lighting. What would happen if you moved the 45 degree light just a smidgeon closer?

    Is that a Maine Coon Cat?

    • I think I tried moving the 45 degree light closer, but it was too bright.
      Yes, that is a Maine Coon. Very odd creature. Sometimes she will get spooked at seeing her own shadow. She did not freak out when the flashes went off. Here is an intentional shot…
